Quick Recipe Notes
Flavor & Fun: A spooky-sweet Halloween treat made with strawberry gelatin and fruity “eyeballs” crafted from lychees, grapes, and jelly beans.
Prep Tips:
- Chill the Jello just until slightly thickened before adding the eyeballs — this keeps them from floating to the top.
- Use canned lychees for convenience; they’re soft, juicy, and easy to work with.
- If you want an extra creepy effect, use green or red gelatin for different “eye” colors.
Make Ahead:
Prepare a day in advance and keep refrigerated until serving.
Serving Idea:
Serve in clear cups so the eyeballs show through — great for Halloween parties or kids’ treats.
Storage:
Refrigerate covered for up to 3 days.
