Making some money on the side can help out with so many things, (Want to earn more money with your own blog? Now that we have the Internet us nerds can finally use this to our advantage and make a killing online.

I think most of us know that blogging is probably the #1 way to earn tons of cash in the long run, but what if you wanted cash fast and easier then blogging. Or maybe you want to start a blog but still need some money to help with the start up costs of running a blog? This is what I used to help me run my blog for free.

[ReviewDisclaimer]

My secret weapon is Fiverr! Now I understand Fiverr is not a new concept, I tried it once before years ago. I couldn’t justify charging only $5 to write an entire blog post for someone, talk about a not equal energy exchange. Now Fiverr is completely different, you can charge essentially as much as you’d like and can offer up to 3 different packages for one Gig.

Fiverr, make money

As you can see above now you are able to create 3 different packages for one Gig and charge a different price for each. This is why I made $105 in one week with no prior Gigs or reviews.

Getting Started on fiverr.

To sell on Fiverr you don’t need anything special at all and it is 100% free!
Join Fiverr HERE

Once you sign up, you can begin selling right away.  Simply click on the sellers tab then Gigs, that is where you will create each Gig you plan on offering.

Setting up your seller profile.

This is a very important step, people will want to check out who you are before they just hand over their money. If you don’t take the time to fill out your profile I can guarantee you no one will buy what you are selling. To edit your profile click the icon in the top right corner of your screen and click profile. From there you will want to add a description, languages you speak, skills you have, and education or certificates.

How do you choose the right Gig?

Choosing the right Gig isn’t as difficult as you might think, first decide what you are good at. For me I have a good enough knowledge of Pinterest and I create my own pins using Canva (you can check out Canva HERE, it is a great tool). Those were the first Gigs I created, then do some research. Go on Fiverr and check out other Gigs similar to the talent you have decided on, be sure to look at how many orders/reviews they have so you know if it is popular.

Pricing your Gig so it will sell!

Pricing your Gig is ultimately up to you and what you believe your services and time are worth. However, if you have no prior reviews or Gigs I suggest checking out how much your competition charges and setting your prices slightly below or offer a bit more then they do in their packages.

How to get your first sale!

When creating your offer you have lots of space to capture buyers attention, first in the “I will” this is where you will want to stand out the most so people will click on your Gig. Keep it short and to the point as best you can. Next is the keywords you will use, if you are offering to write blog posts your keywords should be related to that.

Your 3 packages are as follows:

  • Basic
  • Standard
  • Premium

If you are just starting out and have no reviews people will more than likely choose your basic package to start. Keep in mind how much time you are giving yourself to complete each order because if you fail to complete on time they will leave you a bad review. I also suggest leaving some wiggle room to be able to give a bit more then you are offering which will mean a higher review score.

An example is my very first sale was for a basic package to create 1 pin, I actually created 2 pins that were just similar in design so it was very easy and quick to do. The customer loved this and gave me an amazing review.

Adjusting your gigs.

I have about 4 different gigs active right now, I am going to make a few more that are almost the same. Maybe offer a bit less or more and change a few things around to test. The great thing with Fiverr is it has its own analytics you can use to see how many impressions vs clicks your are getting.

If my gig is getting a lot of impressions and clicks but no orders I go back and change somethings around, I also do a bit more research to see if other gigs are selling and what they are doing that I am not.

In conclusion,

Fiverr is an amazing tool that can help anyone make some extra side cash easily. I love this way more than any survey sites and so far is the only side hustle that has quick results and that anyone can do. Give it a chance, and I hope you see the potential I see!

Quick Action Steps:

1. Sign up for Fiverr.

2. Set up your profile.

3. Decide on your gig and/or gigs.

4. Price your gig and fill out description.

5. Revisit and Revise gigs that aren’t selling.
